Woodpigeon are nest building again

The woodpigeons are busy building nest again I have around 3 pairs and one of the pairs have been gathering  twigs and things all day hence each time I try and take a photo they fly away .

The T bar feeder has been very busy today and the collards doves have been bathing in the birdbaths along with all the wee ones as while current menu is wild bird, nyger, peanuts, and fastballs and apples.

I am not sure if it is late in the season for the woodpigeon’s to be building a nest or not perhaps it got something to do with the late spring and summer we are having?

If you know more about their nesting habits kindly leave me a note below please and thank you in advance

ONE OF THE SMELLY JOBS I HAD TO DO WAS THE BATHROON DRAIN

David help from a distance with the drain rods  as if he got to close I would end up cleaning his sick up as well but it was one of those jobs that needed to be done  but at least it is unblocked now

This is my new home made feeder called T bar very easy to make and in case you have not been over to my other blog at wordpress here is my bug hotel we made yesterday

Enjoy the rest of the week
